Nature’s Wellness Box

Nature’s Wellness Box reached out to us on Instagram and kindly sent us their June Can I Be Your Sunshine? box to review. Nature’s Wellness Box is a monthly Aromatherapy and Lifestyle Subscription Box featuring Non-Toxic, Natural, Vegan & Cruelty-Free Skin-Care, and Household Products. Their mission is to deliver hand-selected, natural, vegan products without the harsh chemicals to your doorstep each month at wholesale prices. Also, all of their essential oils are Health Canada approved and NPN’s (Natural Product Numbers) are listed on the bottles.

Beekeeper’s Natural Throat Spray – $14

I am always looking for products that help me increase my immune system and deal with stress. This product is amazing and I have already used it a few times as I have just started a new role at work and it’s quite stressful. Propolis has germ fighting properties and includes over 300 vitamins, minerals and compounds.

Bridlewood Soaps French Lavender Clay Soap – $7

I could smell this soap as soon as I opened the box. It smells amazing! It is super calming and really made my skin feel soft. The soap contains French Green Clay to help absorb the body’s excess oils but not dry out your skin.

Ibuki Beauty Rose Body Scrub – $9

I am always looking for body scrub to use twice a week so was very happy to find this in the box. I love the rose scent and it left my skin feeling nice and soft. The scrub is a combination of salt and sugar with enough oil to leave skin soft. I will definitely be ordering some more of these scrubs.

Green Cricket Natural Hand Sanitizer & SPF30 Lip Balm – $7 and $5 respectively

These are two products that we can never have enough of. Especially in this time when it’s hard to get a hold of hand sanitizer and when we head into summer. I love the scent of the hand sanitizer and it’s Health Canada approved. The lip balm is also certified by Health Canada and is fragrance free.

Genuine Tea Lemon Ginger Rooibos – $9

I have been drinking so much tea with working at home. I had to try this right away and absolutely loved it. The lemon ginger is super relaxing so I have been drinking this before bed. It is blended in Toronto which is very cool!

Nature’s Essential Oil – Lemon – $12

Another thing we have been doing a lot since working from home is diffusing essential oils so I was very happy to see this lemon essential oil in the box. I also like that the product card tells us which other essential oils that lemon blends well with (bergamot, lime, orange and mandarin).

I was so impressed with my Nature’s Wellness Box and will definitely be subscribing to this great Canadian subscription box. The cost per month is $44.99 per month and the items I received retail at $63. I love that I discovered many new brands through this box.

Boxycharm May

It’s been a while since I did a review but we have revamped the website so we can bring you more content about what is being included in subscription boxes these days! First up for me (Lindi) was Boxycharm. I’m having this box delivered to Canada now since we can’t cross the border to pick up any packages and it definitely doesn’t arrive in a timely manner!

Wander Beauty Wanderess Dusk to Dawn Blush and Highlighter Palette – $26

How gorgeous is this palette? I haven’t had a chance to use it yet as haven’t really had anywhere to go!

Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick – $42

This amazing product won Allure’s 2019 Best of Beauty Awards for Stick Highlighter. It is a product I have been using a lot to brighten up my skin.

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish (2 pack) – $19

I received the shades Fire on the Horizon & Can’t Stop the Feeling. I love both of the shades. I love to have nail polish on hand as I have been doing my nails a lot during quarantine.

English Laundry No 7 Perfume – $25

I quite like this perfume. This is how it’s described on the English Laundry website – “includes top notes of sparkling pear, jasmine, melon and apricot. Gardenia, blooming jasmine and toasted almonds are composed together as the middle notes. Adding beautiful depth to this fragrance, sandalwood, vanilla créme and musk are added to the base notes.”

Sutra Mini Ceramic Curling Iron – $50

I absolutely love this product. I have been looking for a mini curling iron and to receive this in my Boxycharm is such a treat!

All in all I was super happy with my first Boxycharm (after a long time of not receiving this box). This box is $25 per month and the items I received were valued at approximately $162. What a great value box!

Glossybox UK May

WILD THING EDIT!

It’s been a while since I posted on My Box Addiction, life has just gotten in the way. Due to Lockdown I certainly have a bit more time on my hands..I’ve missed reviewing products so decided to sign up for GLOSSYBOX. I think it’s probably my favourite UK subscription box as the majority of the products are usually full size! May’s box is the Wild Thing Edit & I’ll have to be honest, when I opened the box the first thing I thought of was Tiger King (Carole Baskin), think they timed that well 😉
So here’s what was in the Wild Thing Edit..

Steve Laurant Eyeshadow Palette
£31

I have reviewed quite a few products by Steve Laurant, I find the quality is ok & the packaging is always quite cool. There’s 9 colours in this palette & they are exactly what I wear so really happy to add them to my collection. It includes subtle matte tones for day and darker colours for night.

UB COSMETICS True Glow Skin Illuminating Stick
£16.20

I really like these little highlighting sticks, I much prefer a highlighter stick to a powder. Although this is a full size product it’s the perfect size to pop in your purse when on the go.

OH K! SOS Printed Sheet Mask
£4

We are all pretty much obsessed with sheet masks these days! I love that you actually have to lay completely still for a few minutes 😉 I always seal the package after I use the sheet mask then use the serum left inside for the next day or two. I got the Bamboo Charcoal one this time. Always happy to get a sheet mask is a sub box, they can be quite pricey buying them in the shops.

MUDMASKY®️ Hair Mask, Scalp Treatment & Miracle Shampoo
£21

I have to be honest, I thought this mask was for your face, not the hair. I haven’t come across a mud mask for hair yet. This mask should cleanse, hydrate and repair. Looking forward to trying this the next time I wash my hair.. it doesn’t happen often during lockdown..

DR.PAWPAW Outrageous Orange Balm
£6.95

Always happy to see a PawPaw product, I use the original on every little dry area that might pop up or just on my lips. I love putting it on before bed, my lips are so hydrated when I wake up in the morning. This one has an orange tint, perfect when you have a bit of a tan 🙂

The total value of all the products I got this month was £79.15, that’s pretty good for only £8.95 a month 🙂
I’ll definitely be looking forward to receiving my boxes every month again, I just love the unboxing & trying out all the products.
